MEETING OF THE COORDINATION TEAM FOR THE EVALUATION OF CAPITAL INVESTMENT PROJECTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY FOR 2019 – 2021

The Capital Investment Plan is the plan that covers capital infrastructure projects for a period of three years, ie for the period 2019-2021 and it represents an updated version of the existing Capital Investment Plan 2018-2020. All new projects were submitted to members of the Coordination Team for The Evaluation of Capital Investment Projects in Brod Municipality, which evaluated projects. After the evaluation process, the Local Development Department will technically prepare this updated Capital Investment Plan for the period 2019-2021 and propose it to the Assembly of the Municipality of Brod in the form of a draft.

THE PLAN OF CAPITAL AND OTHER SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENTS IN 2019 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY FOR PERIOD 2016 – 2020

The Assembly of the Municipality of Brod adopted The Plan of Capital and Other Significant Investments in 2019 in accordance with the Development Strategy for the period 2016 – 2020 at the 23rd Session held on December 14, 2018.

The Plan of Capital and Other Significant Investments in 2019 is in accordance with the Development Strategy of the Municipality of Brod for the period 2016-2020 and it represents a one-year project implementation plan coming from the current Brod Municipality Development Strategy for the period 2016 – 2020. Its content includes projects from the Development Strategy of the Municipality of Brod for the period 2016 – 2020 which will be implemented in 2019 (funds from the municipality’s budget, credit and/or grants), as well as projects to be applied for donor funds by the Municipal Administration during 2019 and projects that were envisaged in the Plan of Capital and Other Significant Investments in 2018, and which implementation has begun.

VISIT OF THE AMERICAN EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVE

On Monday, December 17, the mayor of Brod Mr. Ilija Jovicic met the epresentatives of the United States Embassy, Banja Luka Branch Office. Mr. Charles Blake, Deputy Head of Office for business affairs, wanted to meet some municipalities. During his stay in Brod, Mr. Blake visited the Municipal Administration, the company “SCAI Adapter” and some other business entities.

 

The topic of the conversation in the mayor’s office was foreign investments in the Municipality of Brod and the area of ​​cooperation with the Branch Office in Banja Luka. “We have good cooperation with the embassies,” said Jovicic, adding that this brings “good things that are provided to municipalities thanks to cooperation with foreign organizations and embassies”. During the meeting, Mayor Jovicic highlighted the issue of energy efficiency of the High School Center and some other facilities.

THE ЕCONOMIC COUNCIL HELD ITS SESSION

The Economic Council of the Municipality of Brod held its 10th session on Wednesday, December 12th, at the meeting hall of the Municipality starting from 6 pm. The session was chaired by the President of the Council Mr. Gradimir Vukman. The meeting was attended by the members of the Council, the Mayor of the Municipality Mr. Ilija Jovicic, the point processors and officials of the Municipal Administration who explained the items on the agenda and a journalist from Radio Brod.

The session was called to discuss certain items on the agenda that will be found at the 23rd regular session of the Municipal Assembly of Brod. Members of the Council adopted the following agenda:

 

  1. Approval of the minutes from the previous session,
  2. 2019 Draft Budget,
  3. Draft of the Credit Decision,
  4. Capital Investment Plan,
  5. Draft Decision on Utility Fee,
  6. Revision of Skele Regulatory Plan,
  7. Merging utility companies,
  8. Work Plan of the Economic Council for 2019,
  9. Miscellaneous.

 

During the discussion, the members of the Council presented suggestions and remarks that will be used in further work of the Municipal Administration.
