USAID WHAM project – New public call for grants

 The USAID WHAM project invites all interested and qualified organizations to submit their project proposals to support training centers that train SMEs in the metal, wood, textile/footwear or ICT sectors oriented towards expanding production capacity, reaching new markets and opening new jobs.

 

The call is focused on training the workforce.

 

The deadline for submission of applications is December 11, 2020 until 6 p.m. local time.

PUBLIC CALL FOR ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TO ECONOMIC ENTITIES FOR SUPPORT OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN BUSINESS CONDITIONS CAUSED BY THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC

The RS Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship has announced a public call for the allocation of funds to economic entities to support investment projects in business conditions caused by the corona virus pandemic.

 

The total amount of funds, which are allocated to companies and entrepreneurs, according to the public call, amounts to BAM 2.000.000,00 and the funds are allocated through two programs, as follows:

 

– program for business entities that in 2019 achieved business revenues of up to BAM 3.000.000, employ from five to 50 workers and who participate in a project whose financial value is at least BAM 50.000,

 

– program for economic entities that in 2019 generated business revenues of more than BAM 3.000.000, employ more than 50 workers and who participate in a project whose financial value is at least BAM 100.000,00.

 

An economic entity can apply only for one of these two programs, and the total available funds are determined and allocated in equal amounts per program.

PUBLIC CALL FOR REAL PROPERTY LEASE 

Oil Rafinery Brod JSC owns two unfurnished business premises with accessible communal infrastructure in the first zone. Those interested have at their disposal a business space on the 1st floor (269 m2) in St. Sava Street and a business space on the 2nd floor (374 m2) in Vojvode Zivojina Misica Street.

PUBLIC CALL FOR MENTORING SERVICES TO MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES AND ENTREPRENEURS

The Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska has announced a public call for providing mentoring services to micro, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in the Republic of Srpska.

 

The mentoring process takes place according to the Agency’s methodology, developed in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The methodology determines the steps that the professional – mentor performs in direct contact and work with the owner, the responsible person of the company, or management, a certain number of hours (up to 50 hours per user) at the user’s premises.

 

The mentoring service is free.

 

The public call is open from June 15 to July 24, 2020, until midnight.

Representatives of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Brod at the opening of the St. Catherine’s Fair

More than 250 exhibitors participated in the 24th St. Catherine’s Fair, that was opened on Thursday, November 21, indoors and outdoors at the Vijuš multipurpose sports hall in Slavonski Brod.

The fair was opened in the presence of exhibitors and guests by Mayor Mirko Duspara, president of the organizing committee of the Fair, which takes place indoors on 2000 square meters, and outdoors outside the hall on about 1000 square meters.

Representatives of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Brod used the advantages of this international fair to present the tourist offer and comparative advantages of the Municipality of Brod. In addition to daily fair events, this year’s 24th St. Catherine’s Fair in Slavonski Brod in the afternoon and evening in outdoor areas outside the hall also offers interesting content, such as the 5th Brod Beer Festival, and concert performances by popular singers and bands.
