CONFERENCE “PARTNERSHIP – INVESTMENTS – SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”: THE MUNICIPALITY OF BROD WAS CEREMONIALLY AWARDED THE BFC SEE CERTIFICATE

The municipality of Brod has once again confirmed the status of a local community with a favorable business environment, receiving the BFC SEE certificate within the regional program “Business Friendly Certification in South East Europe”.

The certificate award ceremony was held on November 11, 2025. at the conference “Partnership – Investments – Sustainable Development”, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska.

On behalf of the Municipal Administration of Brod, the conference was attended by Mihaela Malešević, Head of the Department for Local Development, and Draženka Duronja, Head of the Department for Economy and Social Activities.

In his opening remarks, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, Goran Račić, emphasized the importance of the BFC certificate as a measure of the efficiency of local governments in creating conditions for economic development and investment, as well as the continuous support that the Chamber of Commerce provides to local communities.

The conference was attended, among others, by the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Savo Minić, Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović, Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government Senka Jujić, President of the Association of Municipalities and Cities of the Republika Srpska Ljubiša Ćosić, as well as representatives of institutions, businesses and international organizations.
