Call for proposals – Social economy enterprises: capacity building and business opportunities for social circular enterprises (SMP-COSME-2024-SEE)

This call for proposals aims to deliver on several elements of the transition pathway and the Social Economy Action Plan linked to the need to improve the professionalisation and organisational capacity of SMEs in the social economy as well as social economy ‘enabling organisations’ across several areas:

  • Organisational and management capacity,
  • (Place-based) innovation capacity,
  • Sectoral research and development of market knowledge,
  • Creation or strengthening (local) value chains,
  • Product and service development,
  • Assessment of social economy business model potential in (local) markets,
  • Start-up and incubation for social entrepreneurs,
  • Strengthening skills (e.g. management, employees, volunteers, target groups),
  • Networking and linking to mainstream sector organisations

Legal entities (public and private) can apply for this call.

The budget of the Call is 8 million Euros.

Invitation to the VII Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference in the Republic of Srpska

The Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska organizes the VII Conference of Women’s Entrepreneurship in the Republika Srpska, which will be held on October 3, 2024 at the “Termag” hotel in Jahorina, under the title “Through change to success”.

The members of the Brod Municipal Assembly have adopted the Decision on Determining the Compensation for the Development Costs of Urban Building Land and the Decision on the Arrangement of Space and Building Land

At the 33rd regular session, the Municipal Assembly adopted the Decision on Determining the Compensation for the Development Costs of Urban Building Land (“Official Gazette of the Municipality of Brod,” No. 12/23, page 104), which includes additional reliefs for investors. According to point X, it is foreseen that for the construction of business, industrial, and mixed-use industrial-business buildings, the amount of compensation for the development of urban building land, calculated in accordance with the decision, will be reduced as follows:

  • 5% for buildings with a usable area of 1,000 – 1,500 m²
  • 10% for buildings with a usable area of 1,500 – 2,000 m²
  • 15% for buildings with a usable area of 2,000 – 3,000 m²
  • 20% for buildings with a usable area of 3,000 – 5,000 m²
  • 30% for buildings with a usable area of 5,000 – 8,000 m²
  • 40% for buildings with a usable area over 8,000 m²

At the same session, the Brod Municipal Assembly adopted the Decision on the Arrangement of Space and Building Land (“Official Gazette of the Municipality of Brod,” No. 12/23, page 91), where point XXXIII (3) stipulates that for the construction of business, industrial, and mixed-use industrial-business buildings, the amount of rent compensation, calculated in accordance with the decision, will be reduced as follows:

  • 5% for buildings with a usable area of 1,000 – 1,500 m²
  • 10% for buildings with a usable area of 1,500 – 2,000 m²
  • 15% for buildings with a usable area of 2,000 – 3,000 m²
  • 20% for buildings with a usable area of 3,000 – 5,000 m²
  • 30% for buildings with a usable area of 5,000 – 8,000 m²
  • 40% for buildings with a usable area over 8,000 m²

USAID WHAM project – New public call for grants

 The USAID WHAM project invites all interested and qualified organizations to submit their project proposals to support training centers that train SMEs in the metal, wood, textile/footwear or ICT sectors oriented towards expanding production capacity, reaching new markets and opening new jobs.

 

The call is focused on training the workforce.

 

The deadline for submission of applications is December 11, 2020 until 6 p.m. local time.

PUBLIC CALL FOR ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TO ECONOMIC ENTITIES FOR SUPPORT OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN BUSINESS CONDITIONS CAUSED BY THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC

The RS Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship has announced a public call for the allocation of funds to economic entities to support investment projects in business conditions caused by the corona virus pandemic.

 

The total amount of funds, which are allocated to companies and entrepreneurs, according to the public call, amounts to BAM 2.000.000,00 and the funds are allocated through two programs, as follows:

 

– program for business entities that in 2019 achieved business revenues of up to BAM 3.000.000, employ from five to 50 workers and who participate in a project whose financial value is at least BAM 50.000,

 

– program for economic entities that in 2019 generated business revenues of more than BAM 3.000.000, employ more than 50 workers and who participate in a project whose financial value is at least BAM 100.000,00.

 

An economic entity can apply only for one of these two programs, and the total available funds are determined and allocated in equal amounts per program.
