“I want to thank Duško for his trust and willingness to invest in our Brod, and of course, I wish him success in his future endeavors. I’d also like to emphasize that the doors of our municipal services are always open for any form of assistance,” said Zečević, adding:

“Duško is a great example of a good host, a capable young man, and someone with a strong business instinct.”

The mayor expressed hope that other entrepreneurs from Brod who are operating abroad will recognize the favorable timing and the potential the municipality offers, and decide to bring part of their business back to their hometown.

By attending a two-day training in Neum on the topic “Preparation of Specific Documents for the Use of EU Pre-Accession Assistance,” representatives of the Municipality of Brod continued strengthening their capacities for the European integration process. Following earlier sessions held in Konjic and Bijeljina—where participants focused on strategic planning and project cycle management—the final training in Neum was dedicated to concrete elements of EU pre-accession programming. In cooperation with lecturers from the Directorate for European Integration, the representatives of Brod worked on practical examples of drafting key documents such as the strategic response, action document, and action fiche.
