Public call for expressions of interest for support to SMEs in the field of energy transition, management and digitalization

Eda – Enterprise Development Agency has announced, within the framework of the DESET project, a public call for expressions of interest for support to SMEs in the field of energy transition, management and digitalization.

The call is intended for private manufacturing companies from the wood processing, metal, food and plastics industries, which want to improve energy management and implement digital solutions in their business processes. It is planned that at least ten companies will receive support.

The support includes:

the implementation of the necessary software solutions, which will be fully financed from the grant, with a total of 30,000 euros available for all beneficiaries;

procurement of equipment required for the implementation of new solutions in the field of energy management, including sensors for measuring electricity consumption, temperature, air humidity and other relevant parameters.

In the case of procurement of equipment, the grant covers 54% of the value, while the beneficiary provides the remaining 46%. The total available grant amount for this type of support is 70,000 euros and is distributed among the selected beneficiaries.

Applications can be submitted from the date of publication of the call until the funds foreseen in the project are spent. Interested companies should submit a completed application form, a declaration of compliance with the conditions, a current extract from the court register and a notification of classification according to the classification of activities.

Public Call for Proposals for the Development of Circular Business Models

Within the framework of the EU Private Sector Development Initiative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by GIZ, a Public Call has been launched to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) seeking to improve their operations through the development and implementation of circular business models.

The objective of the Call is to help companies enhance their competitiveness, improve resource and energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, foster innovation, and meet the requirements of international markets through the green transition.

What is funded?

The Call supports projects that contribute to more efficient use of resources, waste and emissions reduction, material reuse, the introduction of secondary raw materials into production, the development of circular products and services, and the implementation of digital solutions for process monitoring and optimization.

Particular emphasis is placed on practical and scalable solutions that can serve as examples of good practice for other companies and sectors.

Who can apply?

The Call is open to export-oriented micro, small and medium-sized enterprises registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina and operating in eligible manufacturing industries.

Innovative projects, women- and youth-led businesses, as well as companies cooperating with vocational secondary schools, are particularly encouraged to apply.

Financial Support

The total budget allocated under this Call amounts to BAM 440,061.

Individual grants range from BAM 9,779 to BAM 29,337. A grant may cover up to 60% of the total project value, while applicants are required to provide at least 40% co-financing from their own resources.

Supported projects should demonstrate a clear contribution to business competitiveness, environmental protection, and the development of more sustainable value chains in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We invite all interested companies to attend one of the information sessions, which will be held on 7 July 2026 and 14 July 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.

During these sessions, we will present the Public Call in detail, explain the application process, and provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions and receive additional clarifications.

Public Call for the Award of Investment Incentives in 2026

PUBLIC CALL FOR THE AWARD OF INVESTMENT INCENTIVES IN 2026

Fondacija 787’s public call for applications from female entrepreneurs to participate in the study visit program in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The study visit is a two-day program organized by Fondacija F787 with the support of the Government of Switzerland, during which 10 selected female entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to visit successful businesses, hear good BiH business practices and make direct contact with key people in selected companies.

This visit and the selection of companies will be carefully created based on your interests and areas in which you want to improve your business skills and knowledge.

This opportunity is intended for female entrepreneurs who want to improve their business, expand their business networks and adopt new knowledge and skills from more experienced entrepreneurs and experts from various industries. If you want to learn from other entrepreneurs, share experiences and expand your business horizons, then this is the opportunity for you.

The study visit, which will be implemented in early June 2026, is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs who operate or develop businesses in areas that have potential for growth through digital channels and online sales. The focus of this edition is on the topic of digital platforms and e-commerce ecosystems, developing and scaling businesses through webshops, marketplace models, logistics, online payments and improving the user experience.

The call is intended for all entrepreneurs:

Who want to develop or improve online sales,

With the potential for a webshop or marketplace presence,

Service businesses that want to digitize their business and improve sales channels,

Developing businesses that want to understand and apply e-commerce models in their business.

Through this study visit program, we want to support entrepreneurs who think in a market and innovative way, and who want to improve their business through digital tools, online sales and modern approaches to customers.

During the visit, participants will have the opportunity to:

Visit a marketing agency specializing in CEO optimization and digital strategies,

Meet a business that has successfully transitioned from physical to online sales,

Talk to entrepreneurs who have integrated online payments and improved the user experience,

Learn about the BH Post’s e-commerce business solution,

Gain insight into the operation of the e-commerce ecosystem through cooperation with relevant stakeholders such as e-commerce associations and online payment providers.

The criteria that will be taken into account when selecting the entrepreneurs are as follows:

The business must be registered in BiH in any form,

The founder/owner or majority co-founder/co-owner of the business is a woman (regardless of the age group she belongs to) and has an interest in the areas listed in the thematic framework of the study visit.

The application deadline is 20.05.2026. until 17:00. Participation in the program is free of charge for all participants and the 787 Foundation covers all participation costs.
